A police constable, Kanubhai Ramanbhai Baraiya, who was living in Shahibaug Police Quarters committed suicide by shooting himself. He is basically from Santarampur and was living in Ahmadabad since many years. On Sunday approximately at 10 in the morning he left to go on duty with his rifle. But he went downstairs from his house and sat near a water tank. Then he fired two rounds in the air and than shot himself in the neck. Police is still puzzled regarding the reason behind his suicide.
